• Choice of Blanks at additional cost of $10 to $30 each. For texturing the instructor will have a few rotary tools and wood burners available for student use during class.

Supplies Needed

• Standard Sharp Hand Carving Tools. A safety carving Glove is recommended.

Hatching Dragons

We welcome David back with this fun project. The class is for the advanced to novice carvers. The student will pick from 3 different rough outs of hatching Dragons. Projects of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 days are available. Your pieces will be carved using Knives, gouges and other hand tools. There are multiple methods for texturing your project, i.e. wood burning, power, or hand carving tool (no power required). Bring your rotary tool or wood burner if you intend to use them for texturing. If you don’t have either, a few will be available from the instructor for students to use. This class will allow you to learn new techniques that may be applied to other types of carvings.
