• Cost of found wood & 2 pieces of cottonwood bark is $20. Other basic supplies needed will be supplied by Instructors. Note: Cost of found wood in not included in the price of the Seminar.

Realistic Church (Cottonwood Bark)

Welcome Andy & Aaron back from Colorado Springs, CO. In this 2-day Seminar (on Wednesday & Thursday), both instructors will work together to teach students how to carve a realistic church from cottonwood bark (approximately 2 in. by 5 in.) that has been cut out to the general shape of a church. The students use basic tools, as well as learn new & different techniques for achieving detail using files. You will be able to create your own customized details using ideas from pictures will be provided by the Instructors. To see a similar project, refer to Andy's article in Woodcarving Illustrated, Fall 2018. Note: Wood burners and power tools are not used in this Seminar.
