Cute Little Gnomes
Happy to announce the return of Robert Miles, a former TWG officer/board member. Robert is back after nearly a 20-year lay-off. He wants you to "come carve with him!" He will teach two 1-day seminars Monday & Tuesday for beginners and intermediate students. Beginners may want to schedule both days or if you just want to carve serveral of these cute little gnomes, sign up for both days. Robert has extra blanks. The gnome will be hand-carved from a 2" X 2" X 6" bandsaw blank supplied by the Instructor. The blank is included in the $40 cost of the seminar. All you need for this seminar is a sharp knife, small gouge and a safety hand glove. Most of the little gnome will be carved with the knife except for hair detail, which will be done with a small gouge. If you have any questions, contact Robert Miles at (432) 425-5143.
