- Wood burner with a Skew tip, craft heat gun, light with extension cord, apron, scissors.
Gourd Bowl w/ Oak Leaf Pattern
Beckie began her gourd career in 2012. She is an active member of The Texas Woodcarvers Guild, The American Gourd Society, The Texas Gourd Society & The Cowtown Gourd Patch. In this Seminar you will apply an oak leaf pattern to a pre-cleaned gourd bowl (there will be other patterns & colors to choose from). Beckie will supply: one pre-cleaned gourd for an additional $10.00. There is no additional cost for patterns, transfer material, paints, alcohol ink dyes and applicators. Please bring a wood burner with a skew tip, an apron, scissors, craft heat gun & a light with an extension cord. Your gourd will be wood burned, painted using alcohol ink dyes & paint. There are only two craft heat guns for students to share, so if you have a craft heat gun, please bring it. When you finish you will have a beautiful gourd to accent your home or give as a gift.
