Feathers in Wood: Painted in Colored Pencils
This Seminar is formulated to teach you how to paint with colored pencils on wood by working on a hand-carved feather. We will carve a feather in basswood, or tupelo & finish it with colored pencils using the proper mediums to blend & detail your feather. The principles of working on this feather will give you all the information necessary to use colored pencils on other wood carvings. Feather cut-outs will be provided, along with a variety of photo reference materials. All colored pencils & mediums will be provided to finish your feathers.
