- Safety glove, hand & palm tools. No power or wood burner required. Student may bring a light if they desire.
Carving in the Round (Open Carving Class)
In this open carving class, Pat will help students with any aspect of carving that a student struggles with. This Seminar is designed with each student's individual needs in mind! Work on what you would like help on, such as laying out faces, fur, hair texture or just completing a project. She will teach five 1-day Seminars. Each student can choose a roughout from a large selection at Moore's Roughouts. Projects include Santas, Indians, caricatures, birds, dragons and others (more than 40 roughouts to pick from). Pat will help carve eyes, faces, feathers or fur. Please bring sharp knives and hand tools. Power tools and wood burners are not used in this Seminar. All skill levels are welcome! Pat enjoys teaching & goes through many aspects of anatomy & techniques, concentrating on how to simplify your steps making you carving experience both enjoyable & efficient.
