Basswood Lighthouse in Rocks (w Andy & Aaron)

Welcome the Mayer brothers back to Texas from Colorado Springs, CO. Andy and Aaron had this project featured in the "Summer 2023 Wood Carving Illustrated." They will work together to guide students through creating and customizing their own lighthouse from basswood. The lighthouse is carved out of a rough-out, while the base is created out of provided wood scraps, stacked together and carved to form the rocks. Paint and brushes will be available if students finish the project and wish to paint it in the Seminar. Project size is 6 1/2"X4". Power Carving and Wood burning are not used in this Seminar.
